In 2020 Snapchat reached a record of 249 million daily active users worldwide. With made-for-mobile shows, games and Lenses, Snap is an authentic way to connect with real friends; especially in a year like 2020. Being their retainer social media agency, we applied this perspective to each campaign created. All of our social campaigns were digitally focused and positioned for Gen-Z.

Bitmoji Paint

In the Snap Game Bitmoji Paint, the world is your canvas… literally. To launch the new game we created an influencer campaign on social with two 30-second spots, an influencer led Twitch livestream, in-app ads, and supporting social media assets. (This is an on-going rollout and the spots will be released in 2021)

We chose Twitch streamers that were all actual friends as our influencers. They streamed Bitmoji Paint using the squad feature for an hour and a half, taking audience suggestions for what they should paint next. The stream pulled in 6,000+ viewers the entire time.

 

 

Spotlight 🔦

Snapchat unveiled a new vertical feature where users can submit a Snap to be featured on the feed, giving out $1 million dollars a day to the top performing content. I created social posts for the 10 tweet launch highlighting different features in each post, and the Youtube descriptions for the upload.

13 Ways to Halloween

Halloween during a global pandemic looked different than the years before. So, Snapchat was able to provide all of the spooky fun we missed out on, virtually. We ideated the concept and I created social posts for our Twitter thread with 13 of the best ways to Halloween on Snapchat, featuring a special appearance from actress Shay Mitchell.

 
 
 

 

Dead of Night Season 2

For the season two launch of the Snap Originals show Dead of Night, we created an interactive “choose your own adventure” Twitter thread. Users played through spooky scenes that gave the same unsettling sensation as Dead of Night Season 2. To drive our audience to the adventure, we hosted the experience on the lead actresses’ Twitter account and Snapchat retweeted the thread. Queen Of Stylez

Snap Originals premiered a new show, Queen Of Stylez, with celebrity hairstylist Tokyo Stylez. I created social posts that featured Cardi B, Kash Doll, Mulatto and more!

While Black

2020 was a historic year for Black Americans and for activism. While Black is the Snap Originals show that talks about it all, and more. To premier the second season of the show I created the Twitter copy paired with cutdown clips.
